NEAL FENTON (MARK)


Neal is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre.  Most recently he performed in the OOBR winning Vital Theatre Company’s production of the Robert Sherwood play IDIOT'S DELIGHT. He has been acting on the New York stage for several years.


NEDRA MORGAN (ASHLEY)


Nedra is a NYC based actress currently producing and developing a feature called LIGHTS OF IVY, along with another film shortly to follow.  She is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and loves to play in all the classics, some favorite roles include "The Moon" in Lorca's BLOOD WEDDING and "Titania" in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.  She is the co-founder of two theatre companies; JUXTAPOSED -NYC, and THE LOUISVILLE REPERTORY CO., in her Native state of Kentucky.  The biggest Joy comes from the laughter of her 2 year old daughter, Arden.



MIKE BOLAND (JOEY)



Since completing ABSCOND VALLEY, Mike has been touring the United States and Canada with the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of 12 ANGRY MEN (www.12angrymentour.com).  The play has been touring for nearly two years, visiting 39 cities and playing in front of more than a half million people.  12 ANGRY MEN was recently awarded "Best Play" by the Broadway League's Touring awards.  Prior to the tour, Mike got rave reviews for playing the lead in the independent feature film BOBBY DOGS (www.bobbydogs.com) BOBBY DOGS won the prestigious Prism Award in April for its accurate and entertaining depiction of alcoholism.  Mike also was a member of the award-winning ensemble in THE EXONERATED at Theatreworks in Hartford, CT.  Mike has performed in many other regional and stock theater productions, and won Best Actor Award at the Turnip Theatre Festival in New York City in 2005.

 

RICHARD RICE ALAN (CLEMENS)


Richard Rice Alan – just finished TRIUMPH OF LOVE playing Hermocrates.  He has worked with Michael on three previous films, TERMINUS, MERCY, and COUPLEHOOD. Some of his favorite roles include: Dracula in DRACULA; Emile de Becque in SOUTH PACIFIC; Serge in ART; El Gallo in THE FANTASTICKS; John Dickinson in 1776; Charles in BLITHE SPIRIT.  He looks forward to working with Mike again SOON!!!



KAYCE GLASSE (MOM)


Kayce Glasse has appeared in several films and television programs, as well as onstage in hundreds of shows, both plays and musicals.  She hails from Houston, Texas where she began her professional career with the Alley Theatre Young Company and went on to do roles for Houston Grand Opera and Stages.  Kayce also spent time on the west coast in Seattle and Ashland, Oregon doing musicals and opera and voiceovers, both for broadcast and interactive games.  She lives in New York City and will be doing her first NYC cabaret show this year.

 

JOE WISSLER (KELLY)


Joe is a native New Yorker.  Born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, Joe has had a lifelong love of acting.  Since the early 70's when he started appearing in TV commercials, Joe has desired to be on a stage.  He made his off-off Broadway debut in 2003 as Curt(lead) in Rebecca Gillman's BLUE SURGE. Joe has continued to appear at Comedy Clubs, on film, TV and stage, including performances at the '05 Midtown International Theatre Festival in GUNS, SHACKLES and WINTER COATS, where he played dual roles.



CHRIS JOBIN (DUTCH)


Chris Jobin is a NY based commercial and voice over actor.  His current commercials roles are for NY Lotto and a Promo for the new USA show "IN PLAIN SIGHT".  Chris is most recognizable from his work on “THIRTY DAYS” for the FX channel where Morgan Spurlock's team documented him living in India for a month exploring the effects of outsourcing on that country.  Chris was thrilled to be a part of Abscond Valley and hopes to do more film work in the near future.

 

EADIE SCOTT (PEGGY)


Eadie just  finished a two month run of WHAT’S THE POINT? at the Reprise Room.  She recently played Maria in Improbable Fiction's TWELFTH NIGHT.  New York credits include: WHAT IN THE WORLD: THE NEWSICAL (John Houseman); JONESTOWN, THE MUSICAL (fringe 2005); VOICE OF THE CITY (York) and numerous appearances at Town Hall as a featured vocalist. Regional credits include EVITA (Walnut Street Theatre), THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE (Pittsburgh Public Theater), A CHRISTMAS CAROL and MY FAIR LADY (GeVa Theater).  Some favorite roles include Dolly Levi in HELLO, DOLLY!, Fraulein Schneider in CABARET, and Blanche in BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS.


JESSI GOTTA (THELMA)


NYC Theatre credits include: Vital Theatre's OOBR award winning IDIOT'S

DELIGHT and DEAR VIENNA; Brick Theater's MEMOIRS OF MY NERVOUS ILLNESS and THE KUNG FU IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST; Gemini CollisionWorks' TEMPTATION for the Vaclav Havel Theatre Fest and HAMLET; Piper McKenzie's PERFECT GIRL and SEXADELIC CEMETERY; Milk Can Theatre's ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD and MUSHROOM IN HER HANDS; Fevvers Productions' ANTARCTICA for FringeNYC; Thirdlows Production's THE CROW: FINAL and Nosedive's BLOOD BROTHERS PRESENT: PULP, CHRISTMAS CAROL and COLORFUL WORLD. Other films include Injury to the Eye Production's "Revenge of the Prom." Jessi is the voice of several national commercials.
